We believe that engaging in pro bono work is an essential part of every lawyer’s practice.
Great values are the bedrock of a great law firm. We want our attorneys to feel the satisfaction that comes from serving the greater good, and we want our communities to benefit from our superior legal expertise and skill. That’s why we strongly encourage all Ricketts Case partners and associates to meet the American Bar Association’s goal of 50 pro bono hours per year. At Ricketts Case, pro bono projects are given the same staffing priority and attention as any firm matter and are supervised by partners with the full support of our resources. Associates who participate in pro bono activities are credited with fully billable hours and pro bono service is given the same weight and consideration as other firm work in the context of performance evaluations.
Through our individual and office-based pro bono, charitable giving, community service, and sustainability activities, our steadfast commitment to helping out is a testament to the firm’s culture and core values.
